ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Lower income families who earn 400% or less of the
federal poverty level are eligible to receive TEFAP food.
If your income, is at or under what is listed for your household size. You qualify.

- You must self-declare your household income meets guidelines listed. No proof of income, social security number, green card, or citizenship are required.
- Your name, current address (unless homeless), and household size are required.
- TEFAP food will not be denied if you refuse to disclose any information that is not a requirement of TEFAP.
- Must reside in the State of Washington. (There is no minimum length of residency required.)
TEFAP Food Varies From Month To Month
TEFAP foods include a variety of fruits, vegetables, proteins, whole grains, rice, and dairy. While most food comes in shelf-stable form, fresh and frozen commodities are also found in TEFAP distributions. Emphasis is placed on healthier foods which includes more low-sodium, low-fat, and fresh options.
